Do you take insurance?

What else besides functional medicine do you offer?

What else besides functional medicine do you offer?

Unfortunately, most functional medicine offices don't take insurance. Insurance companies haven't yet caught up to the impact and value of Functional medicine, and therefore don't support it like they should. We do however provide you with a super bill to help you get some of the labs covered by insurance.

In addition to functional medicine, we offer a fantastic health coach, a medical massage specialist, and a variety of aesthetics. Aesthetics include botox (we use xiomin), fillers and the new Morpheus8 technology that naturally tightens skin, clears up complexion, removes skin spots, and takes care of unwanted hair permanently.

Simply put: No, not at all. These are 2 separate arms of our office, and it's crazy to think that having aesthetics would affect how Dr. Dunham does functional medicine. Also, we know that people want botox and fillers, so there is no better place to get it done than under the watchful eye of a board certified MD. And, our morpheus8 system is all natural, as it gets the body to produce its own collagen, without any outside chemicals involved.

Functional Medicine

What is Functional Medicine?

What does your typical patient look like?

What is Functional Medicine?

Functional Medicine is a better way to treat your health that seeks the root cause of your symptoms, and then maps out the best way forward. It goes beyond just putting band-aids on the situation or reverting to adding more and more drugs. It digs deep while there's still time to find the real solution.

Being proactive is decidedly better than waiting for a more serious health issue to occur. It gives you more control over your health, in addition to significant one on one time with a doctor that works with you in depth. There are multiple directions you can go in, and you decide with the doctor which option you prefer.

What is Functional Medicine?

We can treat a large number of different issues, such as hormones, thyroid, Lyme, weight gain, low energy, gut issues, brain fog, and so much more. Many of these symptoms are connected, and it's only after working in depth with Dr. Dunham that you can truly know what's really going on.

What does your typical patient look like?

Our patients come in all shapes, sizes and backgrounds. That said, they usually have some of these things in common though that caused them to join us:

1. They didn't feel listened to.

2. They were getting bounced around from different docs/specialists with still no resolution.

3. They spent way too much time and money trying to figure it out on their own.

4. They knew that something wasn't right, but nobody could figure out what it was.

5. They don't want to wait until a major crisis before taking their health seriously.

6. They were tired of continuously trying new drugs to treat a problem that won't go away.

MORPHEUS8 / AESTHETICS

What is Morpheus8?

How many treatments will I need?

What areas can be treated?

Morpheus8 is a new subdermal adipose remodeling device (SARD) that fractionally remodels and contours the face and body. Penetrating deep into the skin and fat, this morphs the aging face of body into a more desired smooth and sleek appearance, for all skin tones. Morpheus8 has the ability to penetrate deeper into the skin than any other microneedling device, going as deep as 4mm. Patient comfort is a major advantage of this device because of the sharper needles and tiny punctures it causes in the skin without tugging or pulling. Morpheus8 can be used for all over the body to treat wrinkles, acne scars, stretch marks surgical scars and more.

To do it right, you'll need to do 3 treatments, with at least four weeks between treatments. It's tempting to get excited after seeing the initial results and think you're done, but to get the full effect you need all 3. After that, all you need is maybe a yearly maintenance treatment. And the results continue to increase up to 6 months past the last treatment.

Patients should moisturize the treatment area and avoid direct sun exposure. It is also recommended that patients use a good, broad-spectrum sunscreen every day. In addition to reducing their future risk of skin cancer, sunscreens also reduce wrinkles and slow the aging process.
